Audio Recordings - Advent 2024

Please practice with the recordings below each week!  Ideally you will rehearse on your own at home 5 times per week.  If you are just listening to the songs, you can have headphones.  If you plan to sing along (as often as possible!), sing WITHOUT headphones so that you can hear your voice to ensure it is matching my pitch.

 

Please note that these recordings are NOT perfect.  Their purpose is not to show each piece as performance-ready, but rather, to give you the notes, diction and pronunciation of each piece so that you can practice at home as prepared as possible.

 

In songs that have two or three harmonies, I'll specify above each song recording who will be singing each part.  Some sopranos will be pulled down to alto to enable strong harmonies.  I assigned roles based on vocal range, vocal strength, and leadership.
